pLaNt LaB

I am doing a lab on the Spider Plant. This is scientifically known as the Chlorophytum comosum. These plants are known to be easy to grow so i figured it'd be a great plant to work with. Also, it's not easy to kill completely.

This plant can grow up to 2 or 2 1/2 feet wide. They also grow 2 to 3 feet long. They can be grown in a hanging basket or a pot.
Some of the cautions that I have to take into consideration when doing this lab are:
-Too much or too little watering
-Insects
-Root rot (which results from poor drainage or over-frequent watering)
-Leaf tip burn (which is caused by too much fertilizer or humidity)
[This plant is native to Africa]

These are the materials I used. A razor, red contained to stain the specimen, a glass container to keep the specimen wet, and a green stick to carefully work with the specimen.
